Fall Décor

I spent some time earlier this week decluttering and cleaning and just generally getting ready for November and guests coming. I rearranged the dining room a bit, removed some of the leftover clutter from moving in a year ago(!) and set up the dining room table nicely. The table cloth is new – bought it last year during the post-Thanksgiving sales.

The picture hanging above the table is one that my grandmother, Mabel Austin Gibson, painted of The Little Church between Hall and Gorham in upstate New York. It is supposed to be sent to my brother in Idaho, but as you can see, it hasn’t made it there yet!

A lovely display! I’m really liking the collection of fall color. Did you put a level on that picture? haha

You’ve posted a photo of the painting here so your brother can enjoy it – seems fair 🙂 Isn’t it nice to have a place decluttered and looking pretty? So lovely!
