I finished two baby blankets over the summer, both for friends in New York who welcomed the arrivals of their first and second grandchildren.
And now to begin another baby blanket, this time for a friend of Kat’s that is expecting the arrival of her first child in early November. Kat wanted something special for her friend, so I am going to crochet a Round Ripple Baby Afghan, a pattern that I have wanted to try for quite some time. I’ll be sure to post a pic of the finished blanket when it’s done.
Very nice afghans. I lke the second one best, but both are lovely. I made a star afghan for a baby boy, but my next round one will be a regular ripple.
Good job there!

Need to come to Phoenix for more yarn? 🙂
I actually found a yarn store here in town! But it does seem like a good idea.
