This past weekend was spent mostly resting and catching up on some chores at home. Saturday afternoon we took a spur of the moment trip out to the Whitewater Draw Wildlife Area to view the sandhill cranes. Our previous visits to see the sandhill cranes have been at mid-day when the cranes come in [...] David, Bill and I rang out 2011 with Coldstone Creamery ice cream. It was very yummy, as it always is. Here’s hoping a sweet end to 2011 will be a portend of 2012. There are some places in the United States that I think every American should have to visit, and the Grand Canyon National Park is one of them.
