I have been working on a couple of crochet projects this summer. One is a very long-term project, a blanket for Liana. I hoped that by starting it in June I would have it finished in time for Christmas. I am beginning to think that was optimistic. The base of the blanket is the afghan stitch, which I dislike intensely, but the design was so cute that I couldn’t resist buying the kit. So I work a couple of rows a day and then alternate with an easier project.
I saw a crocheted ball on Pinterest and decided to try my hand at that. It didn’t turn out too badly. I sure hope Liana likes it.
Now I need to find another short-term fun project to do!
